Ordering & Delivery

What are the shipping costs?
Shipping is free within the Netherlands and the European Union. For shipping outside the EU, we charge €15.

What is the delivery time?

  • In-stock products: shipped within 1–2 business days
  • Non-stock products or custom work: 5–10 business days, depending on the supplier or type of fixture

Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order has been shipped, you will receive a track and trace code via email.

Which carriers do you work with?
We work with PostNL, DPD, and DHL.

Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?
At checkout, you will see all available payment methods, including iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact, and other commonly used methods.

Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes, all prices on the website are inclusive of VAT. Within the EU, we do not charge additional import or customs duties.

When will my order be processed?
Immediately after receipt of payment. You will automatically receive an order confirmation via email.

Returns & Warranty

How long is my cooling-off period?
You have a 14-day cooling-off period after receipt to return your order without stating a reason.

What should I do to return something?
Register your return via info@europe-lighting.nl with your order number. Pack the items carefully (preferably in their original packaging) and send them back. Read our full return policy.

What is the warranty on my product?
We provide a minimum of 2 years statutory warranty on all our products. Some manufacturers offer a longer manufacturer's warranty.

What if my product arrives defective or damaged?
Report this within 48 hours of delivery via info@europe-lighting.nl. We will find a suitable solution together: repair, replacement, or refund.

Product & Installation

Can I install LED lighting myself?
Simple connections to the mains (E27, E14, plug-ready fixtures) can be done yourself. For fixed installations – such as recessed spotlights, track systems, or fixtures directly connected to the circuit – we recommend engaging a certified installer. This is safer and often required by your insurance.

Which driver / transformer do I need?
For products that require an external driver, we mention this on the product page. For 48V magnetic track systems, you will find the corresponding drivers in the product details.

Are the lights dimmable?
Each product indicates whether it is dimmable and which type of dimmer is suitable (leading-edge, trailing-edge, 0–10V, DALI). Check the product specifications or ask us.

What do IP values mean?
The IP value indicates how well a fixture is protected against dust and water. For outdoor lighting, we recommend a minimum of IP44; for bathrooms, a minimum of IP44 (zone 2) or IP65 (zone 1).
