The Bladivo operates without rotating blades on the outside — the airflow comes from the housing. This makes it interesting in two ways: it looks like a regular ceiling light, and nothing rotates that someone could bump into. Handy in a child's room or under a low ceiling.

Note the Power Consumption
A bladeless fan has to work harder to create the same airflow: 56 W compared to 40 W for a classic fan. So you buy it for its appearance and safety, not for its energy efficiency.
